About Me
My name is Francesca Mascia, I am a qualified osteopath passionate about caring for the body through movement. I am fully registered with the ROI (Register of Italian Osteopaths), a guarantee of professionalism and continuous clinical updating.
In 2015 I obtained my Diploma in Osteopathy at the Icom College of Osteopathic Medicine in Cinisello Balsamo. In the same year I completed my international studies, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) in Osteopathy at the renowned University of Surrey (Epsom, England).
Academic Background and Qualifications
During my Master’s I deepened respiratory and postural dynamics, culminating in my research thesis titled: “The effect of osteopathic treatment on the respiratory capacity of asymptomatic subjects”. In addition to my osteopathic training, I hold a Heartsaver CPR AED certification issued by the American Heart Association, to ensure maximum safety for my patients in the clinic.
My Philosophy
I firmly believe that “life is movement”. Osteopathic treatment should not be limited to temporarily suppressing the painful symptom. My daily commitment is to listen carefully to the patient’s body to identify and resolve the primary cause of the pain. Only by restoring correct postural and biomechanical balance is it possible to guarantee lasting well-being.
